 As the longest running dive centre in the area we are local dealers for all the major equipment suppliers and can give you an unbiased view across all brands. Boasting a leading edge compressor which constantly monitors air quality and over 100,000 litres in our storage banks we can fill your cylinders instantly or even blend Nitrox while you wait. Coupled with our city centre location and dedicated customer parking it couldn’t be easier to pop in and let Jason our store manager discuss your training requirements over a coffee and help you select your new dive gear!

 Based at Blue Lagoon our Pontefract centre offers the unique ability to come along, select your new dive gear, let one of our service engineers set it up for you and try it out straight away. With three classrooms dedicated to diver training including a 60 square metre multimedia presentation suite and four full time instructors, training courses are conducted almost every day! Our impressive air bank is complemented with an L&W compressor, dedicated Nitrox and Trimix blending panels, and holds over 360,000 litres of air for instant fills.

 Based within the heart of Yorkshire Blue Lagoon has quickly become the most popular inland diving site in the north east with well over 3000 members in it’s first year. Called ‘Blue Lagoon’ by the locals because of its stunning blue colour, it’s a flooded stone quarry boasting excellent visibility and water quality. Owned wholly by Above & Below the facility has been designed specifically for divers and is the focal point for all our diving activities.

 As the North’s leading diver training provider, you would expect us to provide a first class support service for your equipment. We can repair and maintain your diving equipment, including repairs to wetsuits, drysuits, cylinders, regulators and BCD’s. We also supply air to industry Standards and our trained staff have the facilities to blend Nitrox and Tri-mix.

 Many of our staff started with us as Open Water Divers and stayed! Which is a great compliment to the way we operate. All our programs are overseen by a senior instructor with our own full time Course Director ensuring courses at all levels are consistently safe as well as being FUN!!
