Poseidon MK VI & Se7en Discovery Rebreather

The Poseidon Discovery is the world's first rebreather for recreational divers. It's a fully-closed, fully-automated unit that will make you see diving in a different light.

Light, safe and simple to use, the Discovery is designed not only for seasoned divers, but for those who are new to the experience. With so much less to do, you're free to concentrate on the dive itself. And with no bubbles to frighten the sea life, it's a dive you'll enjoy more than ever. It's also a dive you can enjoy for longer, with the potential to stay under water for up to three hours at a maximum depth of 40 m.

Discover Rebreather Diving- £50

If you have never tried a rebreather we would recommend our Discover Rebreather Diver program which is conducted on the first 2 Sundays of each month and consists of a theory session on rebreathers, their function and the different types available. This is followed by the specifics of the Poseidon Discovery MK6 and Se7en recreational rebreather unit itself and how it operates. We then go for a rebreather dive in a swimming pool where you get to experience diving without bubbles as well as practicing some rudimentary skills.

Rebreather Diver Course - £450

If you are intending to become a recreational rebreather diver then our PADI Rebreather Diver course is the ideal way to start. This course will qualify you to dive the Poseidon CIS-Lunar Discovery MK6 / Se7en recreational rebreather up to a maximum depth of 18m. The first two days are based at Blue Lagoon, our own open water diving site, and the last day somewhere a little deeper such as Capernwray or Stoney Cove. The course cost is £450 based upon candidates having their own unit and includes manuals and certification fees with PADI but excludes scrubber canisters and onboard gasses.
